USB-C to HDMI Cast Phone to TV

Plug in a USB-C to HDMI cable and play your photos, videos and music on the TV in a clean full-screen layout. No Wi-Fi, no pairing, no TV app. Rated 4.3 on Google Play.

What it does

Compatibility checker
Reads the USB-C port capabilities and tells you whether wired video output will work, before you buy a cable.
Media casting, not mirroring
Mirroring shows a small portrait phone on a big TV, with notifications. The app renders photos, videos and music in a TV layout while your phone stays private.
HD, Full HD or 4K
Choose 720p, 1080p or 4K output to match the TV and cable. Drop to 1080p if 4K flickers over a long cable.
Audio on or off
Send video sound through the TV speakers or keep it on the phone.
Browser Cast
For phones without wired output: the phone serves media to the TV's browser over the local network. Nothing to install on the TV.
Works anywhere with HDMI
Hotel TVs, meeting room screens, projectors, monitors. If it has an HDMI input, it works.

What it cannot do

  • Add HDMI output to a phone without DisplayPort Alt Mode. That is hardware. See which phones have it.
  • Play Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video or other DRM-protected streams over the cable. Android blocks this with HDCP.
  • Work on iPhone. iPhone 15 and newer mirror natively without an app.

Requirements

  • Android 8.0 or newer
  • A phone with DisplayPort Alt Mode for wired casting (or Wi-Fi for Browser Cast)
  • A USB-C to HDMI cable or adapter, see the cable guide

Frequently asked questions

Is the app free?
The app is free to install and includes the compatibility checker. Casting features are unlocked with a one-time purchase or subscription through Google Play, from $5.99.
Does it work without Wi-Fi?
Yes. Wired casting uses only the USB-C to HDMI cable. Browser Cast is the optional Wi-Fi mode for phones without wired output.
Will it work on my phone?
Only if your phone supports DisplayPort Alt Mode. Check the compatibility list or run the checker in the app before buying a cable. Phones without wired output can still use Browser Cast.
Can it cast Netflix or Prime Video?
No. Streaming services block HDMI output on Android through HDCP, and no app can bypass it. The app plays your own photos, videos and music.
Does it need an app on the TV?
No. Wired casting works with any HDMI input. Browser Cast only needs the TV's web browser.
How do I get a refund?
